Foundation Blend has evolved alongside Ritual itself. Originally one of the first coffees we developed long before we had a roastery, it’s become the blend where we explore more expressive coffees and deeper sourcing relationships as we continue to grow with the producers and partners behind them. Designed for cafés and home brewers who enjoy a more layered espresso, it gives us space to showcase coffees with clarity, fruit and character while continuing to build meaningful partnerships at origin.
Callum Lister, DirectorFoundation Blend reflects where we are as a roastery more than any other coffee. Originally known as House Blend, it’s changed a lot over the years because we’ve changed too, constantly learning, improving and not being afraid to evolve if it means building something better. I love that this blend gives us space to push flavour a little further while also growing deeper relationships at origin. It feels like a really honest representation of where we want Ritual to go.
