Seasonal Decaf (Mountain Water Process) - Mexico

Founded by Octavio Moguel Farrera, Finca Nueva Linda sits within Mexico’s El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, which is a region celebrated for exceptional coffee. The farm more than earns its reputation, having won multiple Mexican quality awards.

Our signature seasonal decaf is an organically produced, mould‑free and chemical‑free decaf coffee designed for people who want exceptional flavour without the caffeine. 

This coffee is naturally decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, which is a gentle, chemical‑free method that uses pure spring water from high‑altitude mountain sources to remove caffeine from green coffee beans. As the water flows through the beans, it dissolves the caffeine while preserving the natural oils, aromatics and flavour compounds that make great coffee taste like great coffee.

This batch does not have such a superior flavour as last time. I find it more bitter.
